Charles Cazabon's Writings
The following are pages devoted to writings by me, some technical, and some not.
- 12 Steps to qmail List Bliss, a guide I wrote to help people make effective use of the qmail mailing list.
- I had a lot of trouble trying to update the firmware on a Crucial M550 SSD. Here's how I finally did it, to help others in the same situation. It can be used with a number of their other SSD product lines as well. This is particularly useful if you have no Windows machines to do the update from.
- Sony's war on reality regarding the Playstation 3 master key
- Why Wikipedia Can't Work — Wikipedia has many faults. Here are two of the most critical.
- My contribution to the War on Numerical Ignorance
- Shiva Ayyadurai is a lying dickhead who absolutely, positively did NOT invent email
- Detroit automakers apparently still don't have a clue, the Ford Flex is a P.O.S., and Victoria Oppenlander of Regina, SK is an idiot
- Notes on (mostly) Saskatoon Restaurants, perhaps useful to those planning to visit the Saskatoon area. Note this is out of date, as I no longer live in Saskatoon.
I also have a few documents here that I have either mirrored from other sites that have since disappeared, or which I have annotated with my own comments.
- Computing Fallacies by Michi Henning — annoated and marked up by yours truly
- How to disable HTML in your MUA, by Gerald E. Boyd. Mirrored here because the original has gone walkies.
